Alternative Icons for Suntray

In Windows the easy way to make Sunbird run in the system tray is to use Suntray. If you use Sunbird in Linux you might find this page useful.

Suntray comes with a nice set of default icons by Mark Carson, the creator of the icons and artwork for the main Sunbird application. Before Mark produced special icons for Suntray, I adapted a set from his Sunbird icons (see below). You can download and use them for free, but if you want to modify them or redistribute them you should check with Mark Carson. The Sunbird icons remain his design and property.

Alternatively, if you are using the Mozilla calendar extension you may prefer some more generic icons (see below).

The icons in the zipped archives are correctly named to work with Suntray - just unzip them and copy them into the same directory as the Suntray app and use the "- extIcon" command line option (see the Suntray website for more detailed instructions.

All credit or suggestions relating to the Suntray application should be addressed to the program's author, OneMan, via the details on his webpage or the appropriate thread.
